Named for the world-famous Serengeti grasslands in East Africa, this dark roast is the perfect blend of a fruity Kenyan with a full-bodied Colombian for balanced, bold flavor.

Kahawa 1893 founder Margaret Nyamumbo grew up on her father's coffee farm in Kenya. There she witnessed firsthand the inequalities within the coffee industry: women provided over 90% of the labor but owned only 1% of the land. Margaret launched Kahawa 1893 with the idea of bringing Kenyan coffee to the world in a way that benefits these women farmers the most.
